CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
By completing this nomination, I, the undersigned competitor state:

1. In my judgement I have enough knowledge of boating regulations of the NT and boating experience to operate a power boat safely while fishing.

2. The boat I will be using will be in sound condition and contains all required safety gear.

3. My team will comply with current NT boating and fishing regulations and directions of the Competition Committee

4. Conduct which in the opinion of the Organisers may be considered a threat to angler's safety, criminal activity, or anti-social behaviour may result in exclusion from the competition without refund.

INDEMNITY CLAUSE
I understand that sporting activities such as those involved in within the Katherine Game Fishing Club –Big Horse Creek Barra Classic 2025 (Competition), are inherently dangerous. I acknowledge that I am exposed to certain risks while participating in these activities and that accidents may happen resulting in injury, death, or property damage. Therefore, I release and indemnify (and keep indemnified) the Katherine Game Fishing Club Inc, its committee members, the organizers, sponsors and others involved in the Competition from and against any claims, liability, costs and expense made, suffered or taken by any person as a result of my participation in this event (including without limitation personal injury and death, property damage and any breach of intellectual
property rights) except to the extent that such claims are directly attributable to any negligence of an indemnified party. In addition, I release and indemnify (and keep indemnified) the Katherine Game Fishing Club Inc, its committee members, organisers, sponsors and others involved in the Competition from and against any claims, liability, costs and expenses made, suffered or taken by any person as a result of an unforeseen or catastrophic event (this includes, but is not limited to, an act of god, earthquake, fire, crash, property damage, injury and death) except to the extent that such claims directly attributable to any negligence of an indemnified party. I understand the rules applying to the competition and will abide by these rules and the ruling of the Competition Committee.

NOTE: For Junior competitors, this indemnity MUST be acknowledged and agreed to by a parent or guardian. No entry can be accepted otherwise.
